My name is John Stewart and several years ago I decided to purchase a special kind of pool, a "counter-current" pool, sometimes called a swimming machine. After a few weeks of research I started to realize something, the more I scratched beneath the surface, the bigger the chasm of information became. All manufacturers claimed their system was the best and some started their own biased comparison grids to prove the point. Not to be deterred I continued my methodical research for over two years before deciding on a product on which to spend my hard earned money. This website is dedicated to those who don't have the spare time of an old retiree nor the patience to navigate the endless reams of marketing hype put forth by all companies involved. I went as far as test swimming each model, sometimes at the respective factory, other times at local home shows. What was most important to me was the price to value, the quality of swim, the ease of installation and the reputation of the company. Were they going to be around to support this huge investment?
